Green's Function Lab
Purcell · LDOS · SPP · Casimir–Polder
An instrument-panel dashboard for computing electromagnetic Green's functions near metallic slabs — Purcell factor, local density of states, surface-plasmon dispersion, Casimir–Polder potentials, and Keysight ADS substrate exports — all with live charts and KaTeX-rendered formulas.
Six analysis tabs
Instrument panel tabs
Each tab runs an independent backend call and renders its own live chart, formula block, and schematic. All tabs fail independently — one error doesn't blank the others.
Purcell Factor
Spontaneous emission rate enhancement near a metallic slab — both perpendicular and parallel dipole orientations plotted spectrally.
- Energy-resolved Purcell spectra (perp + para)
- Peak Purcell values and peak energies
- Drude model dielectric response
LDOS
Local density of optical states as a function of energy and atom–surface separation, including a 2D LDOS(ω, d) heatmap.
- Normalised LDOS spectrum (
ldos_normalised) - Max LDOS enhancement + peak energy
- Separation map via
/ldos-map
Dispersion / SPP
Surface-plasmon-polariton dispersion relation: frequency vs in-plane wavevector, highlighting the light cone and SPP branch.
- ω–k dispersion curves
- Light-cone boundary overlay
- SPP resonance identification
Casimir–Polder
Van der Waals / Casimir–Polder potential vs atom–surface separation, with physics commentary from the backend.
- CP potential in meV and joules vs separation (nm)
- Minimum potential value and location
- Backend

ADS Export
Export slab parameters as Keysight ADS substrate files for RF/microwave co-simulation workflows.
- Touchstone (.s2p) file download
- ADS substrate definition export
- ADS netlist fragment export
Quantum Interpretation
Parameter-aware physics commentary from the v2 API — explains what the computed quantities mean for the specific slab and atom separation you entered.
- Narrative, section-by-section, or structured sub-object format
- Falls back to raw-JSON diagnostic view if shape is unexpected
- Reuses the
/greens-functioncall (no extra API hit)
